Biography
Cindy Hanson has been an award winning female voice talent for over 25 years. She is a skilled voice artist; a veteran of television and radio who brings energy, versatility and credibility to every session.
She has voiced literally thousands of radio and television commercials, corporate
narrations, promotional DVD’s, tutorials, on hold and voice mail messages. Her vocal styles include: professional and authoritative, meditative, warm, caring, bright, upbeat, quirky, fun, sensual and smooth.
It all started at age ten when she began to take messages for her father while he was out of his office. When his clients mistook her for an adult, she began to recognize the power of the spoken word. After attending college, she embarked upon a career in radio that landed on the airwaves of KINK-FM, in Portland, Oregon. Her radio career took her in diverse directions; Rock, Jazz, Classical, and Triple A formats.
She always wanted to live at the beach and by 2001, took a leap of faith and found herself living on a bluff where the forest meets the ocean on the magnificent Oregon coast. Here, she ventured outside of radio, where her career has taken her into television and media sales, television reporter, producer and ultimately as Public Relations Manager for the Oregon Coast Aquarium.
In addition to voiceover work, she is a published writer and photographer whose work is featured in books and magazines about the rich abundance of wildlife on the Oregon coast.
